MARY JANE THE MUSICAL 2: THE GRANDSON to Premiere At Dell’Arte International in June

Dell'Arte International and Longshadr Productions will present the world premiere of Mary Jane The Musical 2: The Grandson. The sequel featuring 12 original songs exploring Humboldt County's cannabis culture at the outdoor Rooney Amphitheatre in Blue Lake, CA.
Furnace Fest Announces Final Headliner for Lineup, Sunny Day Real Estate.

Furnace Fest has announced their final headlining act, Sunny Day Real Estate. The performance on Saturday, September 24th, marks one of the first US show the band has played since 2010. Fans will also be able to catch acts like Manchester Orchestra, Cursive, Elliott (performing False Cathedrals), Blindside (performing Silence), Pedro The Lion (performing Control), and many others on Saturday. Furnace Fest will be held at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, September 23 – Sunday, September 25th. Lunar New Year Concert To Include U.S. Premiere By Andy Akiho

The New York Philharmonic announces program updates for its Lunar New Year Concert and Gala, led by Long Yu, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. The program will feature Andy Akiho's Ricochet, Concerto for Ping Pong, Violin, Percussion, and Orchestra, featuring Philharmonic violinist Elizabeth Zeltser (in her Philharmonic solo debut), ping pong players Ariel Hsing and Michael Landers (Philharmonic debuts), and percussionist David Cossin (Philharmonic debut). As previously announced, the program will also include Li Huanzhi's Spring Festival Overture and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, with pianist Serena Wang, the Farmers' Chorus of the Yunnan Province, soprano Vanessa Vasquez, tenors Chad Johnson and Issachah Savage, and bass Alex Rosen, all in their Philharmonic debuts (the additional soprano and mezzo-soprano will be announced at a later date).

VH1 Pulls EV AND OCHO Reality Series Due to Johnson Arrest

VH1 has announced that it is pulling its new reality series EV AND OCHO from its schedule before it has even debuted. The show starred newlyweds Chad Johnson, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, and Evelyn Lozada. The move was in response to a confrontation last weekend between Johnson and his wife that led to the arrest of the Miami Dolphins football player. Johnson has been charged in a domestic battery case.
