Walker starred in numerous incarnations of the show, including Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson: The Concert Version (a four-week workshop run at Public Theater in March 2009), and the thrice-extended return at the Public Theater in March 2010. The production closed on January 2, 2011.
From 2012 to 2013, Walker portrayed Brick in a revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. His other stage credits include The Arrangements at the Atlantic Theatre Company (2005), the Lincoln Center Theater workshop of Spring Awakening (2005), Lady Windermere's Fan (2005), Romeo and Juliet (2006), and American Psycho (2016). He last appeared on stage in Opening Night in the West End in 2024.
Walker starred in the short film All Saint's Day (2007), which was the Savannah College of Art and Design winner for the narrative short category. In 2009, he appeared in the independent films Coach and The War Boys. In 2010, Walker was cast as Hank McCoy/Beast in X-Men: First Class, but dropped out of the role to star in the Broadway musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. It was announced in January 2011 that Walker would star as Abraham Lincoln in the film adaptation of Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. The film was released in June 2012. He was cast as Archangel Michael in the film adaptation of Paradise Lost, but production was cancelled in 2012. He starred as Kevin Connolly in the 2013 film Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight. Review: A Sleek, Sharp, and Sexy AMERICAN PSYCHO at Theater West End
by Drew Eberhard - Oct 27, 2025

In 1991, American Novelist Bret Easton Ellis published the highly controversial novel American Psycho. Through the story, we dive headfirst into a greed, lust, and ego-filled world told through the eyes of Patrick Bateman. A man so narcissistic, so label-driven, money hungry, and at the root of it all the depths of his humanity lie in a blood lust. Sure, he dates, he sleeps around, and is sometimes very graphic regarding his escapades, but at the root of his very being, he can’t feel. He shows no emotion, claims to never have fallen in love, and yet what is it that drives him?

Review: AMERICAN PSYCHO THE MUSICAL at HOUSTON BROADWAY THEATRE
by Brett Cullum - Sep 8, 2025

Broadway, film, and television star Robert Lenzi (THE HAPPENING and THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL) is Patrick Bateman for this Houston run. He plays Patrick as an apex predator, but one that surprisingly gets lonely or feels isolated. There is not just the cold killer, but also a sense of what’s killing him.

Review: WOLF KINGS at The Chapel
by James Lindhorst - Nov 10, 2024

“Wolf Kings” is more performance art than a play. The snappy banter is often witty and funny. The vivacious movement is dance-like. There are elements that are peculiar, comedic, and dramatic. It condemns predatory behavior though spectacle by granting victims strength. Its thought-provoking message is cloaked and shrouded in unusual absurdity with a final scene that is oddly disconnected. “Wolf Kings” will prompt both post-performance discussion and a bit of head scratching because its narrative gets messy and a little lost along the way.
OPENING NIGHT Starring Sheridan Smith Will End its West End Run Early
by Stephi Wild - Apr 11, 2024

Review: OPENING NIGHT, Gielgud Theatre
by Aliya Al-Hassan - Mar 26, 2024

Now a stage musical, John Cassavetes’ 1977 film Opening Night was a commercial flop when it was released, later becoming something of a cult classic of American independent cinema. Director Ivo Van Hove specialises in bringing work to the stage that may be called “challenging”. Challenging can be hugely successful, but I’ve rarely seen a production more determined to confuse and frustrate an audience.
