In conjunction, they have started up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for one of their favorite small businesses, Jeepney, a Filipino restaurant in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

East West Players, the nation's longest running theatre of color and largest producer of Asian American theatrical work, is proud to announce a series of special partnerships with Asian AF (the comedy variety show created by Upright Citizens Brigade Member Will Choi), and Crazy Talented Asians (the variety talent showcase created by Singer/Songwriter AJ Rafael) that will bring two multi-day events to the David Henry Hwang Theater in the Little Tokyo district of Downtown Los Angeles.

Rockwell Table & Stage in association with actor, singer, and human empowerment ambassador Anthea Neri and associate producer Danny Bernardo proudly present the D.I.V.A. Speakeasy Salon, a variety show full of burlesque, music, magic, comedy, and more. Hosted by Neri and Bernardo, the D.I.V.A. Speakeasy Salon transforms the Rockwell into an all-encompassing, vintage experience that mixes the subversiveness of the Kit Kat Club with the immersiveness of Westworld. Planned as an ongoing series, the inaugural event will take place on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 8pm at Rockwell Table & Stage. Admission is $20 and tickets can be reserved at http://bit.ly/DIVA820.

East West Players' Producing Artistic Director Snehal Desai sharply directs his en pointe cast in a crowd-rousing production of non-stop Abba hits, the most joyous MAMMA MIA! Choreographer Preston Mui has created intricate, very FUN dance routines, deftly executed by all. Joan Almedilla as Donna Sheridan and Grace Yoo as her daughter Sophie - take this production to another celestial level.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus, and book by Catherine Johnson, Mamma Mia! is directed by East West Players' Producing Artistic Director Snehal Desai, musical direction by Marc Macalintal, and choreography by Preston Mui. Mamma Mia! begins performances on May 9th and runs through June 9, 2019, with opening night on May 16, 2019.

Elaine Marcos (ANNIE, PRISCILLA) and MadTV's Michelle Ortiz under the guest music direction of singer, songwriter, and arranger Jan Roper (Hollywood Bowl, Musical Theatre Guild).

Overtone Industries, a celebrated force in the evolution of contemporary music theatre and experimental opera, will share the next phase of its epic new multidisciplinary production, ICELAND, in concert form, at the Ford Theatres' stunning, newly renovated amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 8:30pm. Written and composed by O-Lan Jones, in collaboration with critically acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Emmett Tinley, ICELAND is a modern love story, set in a mythical and timeless world, where ancient creatures challenge the hero and heroine on an archetypal journey. The work tells an intimate story, beginning in an Icelandic airport and journeying off the map of the known world, into the realm of "The Hiddenfolk" and the vast mythic inner landscapes of Iceland. The ICELAND Concert at the Ford, presented for the first time with full orchestration and complete score, will be directed and choreographed by local legend Ken Roht, with musical direction by David O, as well as additional creative scenic design elements and impressionistic costumes. George directs a cast of ten, including Jennifer Apple, Rachel Coloff*, Rhys Gilyeat*, Zachary Infante*, Stephen Mark, Anthea Neri*, Rachel Rhodes-Devey*, Brooke Shapiro*, Kevin Sims*, and Max Wilcox*.
