Writer, actor and comedian Kelly Kinsella is set to bring her hilarious one-woman play WHEN THOUGHTS ATTACK to NYC's the cell: A Twenty First Century Salon (338 West 23rd Street) for a limited 8-week run beginning on Sunday, 11/3 at 7pm. In this honest and funny show about anxiety, Kinsella begs to answer the question "Is everyone crazy or is it just me?"

In WHEN THOUGHTS ATTACK, a woman walks into a restaurant to order lunch and is swept up into a whirlpool of anxiety over every life choice that has led her to this meal. Clinging to her sense of humor and an emergency Xanax, she teeters between the salmon or a complete nervous breakdown. Never has the act of making a decision been so entertaining!

Kinsella's style is raw, unique, personal yet universal, in the vein of storytellers Amy and David Sedaris and Louis CK. WHEN THOUGHTS ATTACK will feature direction from Padraic Lillis (Best Director FringeNYC 2013; Best Director NYIT Awards 2013) and was an official selection in last year's annual soloNOVA Festival. It also received a staged reading hosted by the Actor's Fund of New York and was workshopped at Ars Nova.
