Atlantic Theater Company will present LATINO MIXFEST, a series of free readings that will run Thursday, June 12 - Friday, June 27 at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street).

In addition to LATINO MIXFEST, our residency program now welcomes Raul Castillo as our second playwright to join us for the remainder of this season. "Along with developing new work with Raul, we have invited Jose Rivera, Diane Rodriguez, and John Leguizamo for a series of workshops this summer," says Jaime Castaneda, curator of the festival and the company's Artistic Associate. "This year marks our fifth anniversary of engaging new work by Latino artists from across the country."

LATINO MIXFEST, along with all of Atlantic's new play development activities, is made possible with the support of the Time Warner Foundation. The commitment of Time Warner has been instrumental to this program since its inception, and the staff of the Atlantic acknowledges the company's leadership role in the program's continuation.
