City Hall is demanding more than his signature, the Landlord wants him out, the liquor store is closed - and the Church won't leave him alone. For ex-cop & recent widower Walter "Pops" Washington and his recently paroled son Junior, when the struggle to hold on to one of the last, great rent-stabilized apartments on Riverside Drive collides with old wounds, sketchy new houseguests, and a final ultimatum, it seems the Old Days are dead and gone - after a lifetime living between Riverside and Crazy.

Stephen Adly Guirgis' plays have been nominated for Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Lortel Awards and have won the Edinburgh Festival Fringe First Award, Barrymore Award, and LA Drama Critics Award. A former co-artistic director of the LAByrinth Theater Company, he makes his Atlantic debut with the world premiere of BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, following acclaimed New York productions of Our Lady of 121st Street, Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and The Little Flower of East Orange and Broadway's The Motherf***er with the Hat.

A director, playwright and actor, Obie Award winner Austin Pendleton recently directed Tribes in Chicago, where he is a Steppenwolf ensemble member. His Steppenwolf production of Lisa D'Amour's Detroit went on to an acclaimed run at London's National Theatre. Of his trio of Chekhov plays for Classic Stage Company, Uncle Vanya received a 2009 Drama League nomination for Distinguished Revival of a Play and Three Sisters received a 2011 Lucille Lortel nomination for Outstanding Revival.

Victor Almanzar makes his off-Broadway debut in BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY. Elizabeth Canavan has collaborated previously with Stephen Adly Guirgis on four productions of his plays in New York and London. Rosal Colón was recently on Broadway in the casts of A Free Man of Color and Stephen Adly Guirgis' The Motherf***er with the Hat. Liza Colon-Zayas has appeared in both the original and off-Broadway productions of Quiara Hudes' Pulitzer Prize-winning play Water by the Spoonful. A Tony nominee for his performance in Fences, Stephen McKinley Henderson can currently be seen on Broadway in A Raisin in the Sun. Michael Rispoli can be seen in A&E's series "Those Who Kill" and is known for roles in STARZ's "Magic City" and films Kick-Ass and The Rum Diary. Atlantic Ensemble Member and Obie Award winner Ray Anthony Thomas performed in August Wilson's Century Cycle for NPR and was recently seen off-Broadway in the Women's Project Theater's The Most Deserving.

BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY will feature scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Alexis Forte, lighting design by Keith Parham, and original music and sound design by Ryan Rumery.
