Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill ten-year-old: normal mom and dad, normal little brother, normal life. That's just the problem...for Stanley, life is too normal. He wants to travel the world, do something amazing, something no one's ever seen before. One night, the bulletin board on the wall above Stanley's bed comes loose and falls - right on top of Stanley! The next morning, Stanley wakes up flat. Not just a little flat...really, REALLY flat! In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley - the ultimate exchange student - scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood to France to Honolulu and beyond. And whether he's thwarting a robbery at the Louvre Museum in Paris, or 'hanging ten' off the coast of Hawaii, Stanley is closing in on his goal of being a three-dimensional boy once more.

Flat Stanley is Piedmont Players Theatre’s 2^nd grade show.  Students from county elementary schools will be brought in to see the show on one of four school show days.

 In addition to 12 school shows, PPT will produce 6 public performances.

Auditions will be held in the lobby of the Norvell Theater

Tuesday, Oct 9 - 4pm & 5pm (25 slots per time)

Auditions are OPEN to all students who can read well.  To Schedule an audition time, Please call704.633.5471. 

After scheduling your time, you will be emailed an audition form, please fill out the form and bring it with you to auditions.

Public Performance Dates:

Nov 9 & 16 at 7:30pm, Nov 10 & 17 at 2:30pm & 7:30pm

School Performance Dates: 
Nov 13-16 at 9:15am, 10:45am & 1:15pm each day
