THE BEST PAGEANT EVER - Columbus Children's Theatre Non Equity Auditions

(Columbus) - Columbus Children’s Theatre will hold open auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Auditions will be held Sunday October 7 and Monday October 8 at 7:00pm at the Columbus Children’s Theatre Studio located at 177 E. Naghten St.  Callback auditions will be held on Tuesday October 9 at the same time and location. Actors should bring a recent photograph or snapshot, a resume, and his/her calendar to indicate conflicts during the rehearsal schedule.  Readings will be from the script. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever performances will begin Thursday November 29th and will run through Sunday December 23rd. Rehearsals will be held Sunday through Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning October 12. The production will be directed by Carol Brand.

 

This CCT audience favorite returns for the holiday season.  Celebrate the spirit of the Christmas season with this funny, memorable, outrageous tale that’s been a favorite for years.  What happens when the meanest, toughest kids in town take over the church’s annual Christmas pageant?  They experience the story for the first time and, in the process, help everyone else rediscover its true meaning

 

OPEN AUDITIONS: 10 Adult actors (male and female) and 17 young actors (ages 10 – 17) are needed for Columbus Children’s Theatre’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.  Actors 18 and older who are high school graduates are paid a stipend for their participation.  Auditions will be held Sunday October 7 and Monday October 8 at 7:00pm at 177 East Naghten St., Columbus, OH  43215.  For more information call 614-224-6672or visit www.colschildrenstheatre.org
