Seeking exceptional vocalists for brand-new stage productions by Emmy Award-winning RWS Entertainment Group in conjunction with international musical phenomenon, Postmodern Jukebox.

The productions will maximize what audiences come to expect from the popular brand - taking modern songs and infusing them with a vintage flair - while adding staging and visual elements.

RWS will be assembling several companies that will tour at sea on contracts which will average around 12-16 weeks in length. Company members will enjoy “Guest Entertainer” status onboard, private cabin, and full access to the ship when not performing, free from any duties or previous restrictions related to a “Crew Member” status.

Casting will be ongoing as several companies with be formed throughout 2019. Rehearsals in NYC. Worldwide itineraries.

Pay Rate: $1,600/week. Travel and lodging provided.

Open Calls for Male and Female Vocalists (Union/Non-Union) will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10am (Females) and 2pm (Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 3rd Floor, NYC. Plan to stay until 6pm at the latest if called back. Callbacks will be held Thursday, March 14.

Seeking:

MALE VOCALISTS: Any ethnicity. Open to a variety of shapes, sizes, and looks. Dynamic vocalists who can command a stage and massage a song. R&B/pop high tenors who have the ability to sing in a jazz style and go beyond what is written on the page. Ability to riff a huge plus. Strong falsetto also a plus. Must have a strong stage presence and star quality. Must move well.

FEMALE VOCALISTS: Any ethnicity. Open to a variety of shapes, sizes, and looks. Dynamic vocalists who can command a stage and massage a song. R&B/pop belters with a wide range who have the ability to sing in a jazz style and go beyond what is written on the page. Ability to riff a huge plus. Must have a strong stage presence and star quality. Must move well.

Preparation:

Prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or R&B song showing range and personality. Have a jazz standard or Big Band era song ready as a second selection. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided.

Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.

ALL performers MUST be 18 or over to be contracted.
