GENERAL RUCKUS - SCERA Youth Theatre Non Equity Auditions

SCERA Youth Theatre's General Ruckus to hold auditions Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012

SCERA Youth Theatre's General Ruckus is a musical theatre class and performing company for students in grades 7-9. Students are accepted by audition only, and must commit to the September 2012 through May 2013 season. Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of two contrasting-style Broadway songs to sing at auditions, which will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 4-6pm at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. General Ruckus is directed by Amy Shreeve Keeler. If youth are accepted, they will meet every Thursday from 4-6pm for class/rehearsal. During Fall Semester, General Ruckus will perform in SYT's Christmas Music Revue and give an end-of-semester in-class presentation. During Winter Semester, they will perform in SYT's Spring Disney Revue as well as present their own mainstage musical production. Tuition for General Ruckus is $45/month plus a $55 production fee/semester. For more information, email syt@scera.org.
