EATING RAOUL: THE MUSICAL - STAGEStheatre

Like REEFER MADNESS in its campiness, this off-Broadway musical based on the 1982 black comedy cult classic tells the story of Mary and Paul Bland, a loving but prudish married couple living in Los Angeles at the peak of the swinging 1960s. After accidentally killing (with a frying pan) a swinger who tries to rape Mary and discovering his wallet full of cash, the Blands develop a scheme to lure and murder other swingers to rid the world of their "filth" and steal their money to open their dream restaurant. ...Enter sexy Latin handyman, Raoul, who joins their "business" as a valuable asset in helping the Blands with their dirty work. Things get complicated when Raoul tries to scam the 'in-over-their-heads' couple and seduce the love-torn Mary.
