Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the appointment of Laura Green as the theater's new Production Manager and Bea Daggett, leading the historic theater's development team as Director of External and Strategic Affairs. "We are thrilled to add Bea Daggett and Laura Green to our stellar senior management team," stated Todd Schmidt, Paper Mill Playhouse's Managing Director. "Bea and Laura are experienced professionals that will enhance the work that Paper Mill Playhouse produces onstage and beyond. These appointments will allow the theater to continue to grow and thrive."

Laura Green, a resident of Maplewood, NJ, came to New York in 1988 from Provincetown, MA, after many years of working with and ultimately serving as president of the Board of Directors of the Provincetown Theatre Company. Green served as general manager of Richard Frankel Productions from 1994 until 2008, and chief operating officer when Frankel and Green became partners to create Frankel Green Productions from 2008 until 2013.

Green served as general manager for the Broadway, touring and international productions of Smokey Joe's Cafe, The Sound of Music, The Weir, Swing! (national tour), The Producers, Hairspray, Young Frankenstein, Leap of Faith, Finian's Rainbow, The Norman Conquests and Gypsy staring Patti LuPone. Prior productions include Sarafina!, Lost in Yonkers, Metro, Breaking Legs, and as producer, Ten Percent Revue. Green is a member of the Broadway League and an original member of the League Labor Committee, which provides ongoing labor relations services to the Broadway industry.

"Paper Mill Playhouse has a strong foundation of passionate, knowledgeable, and skilled theater professionals that genuinely care about their community, the world at large, and the enrichment that live theater provides," said Laura Green. "I am proud and honored to have been asked to join and contribute as a part of this team."

Over the past 25 years, Bea Daggett, a resident of Basking Ridge, NJ, has supervised state and national public relations campaigns. As a public relations executive and consultant, Daggett supervised and managed accounts and developed new business opportunities for numerous Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T and Lucent, as well as major state departments such as the Department of Transportation, New Jersey Lottery, and the NJ Division of Travel and Tourism. Most recently Daggett served as executive director the Citizens' Campaign and its "Jersey Call to Service," a statewide movement to replace our culture of self-interest and government waste with a culture of service and savings.

Beyond her professional and political experience, Daggett has served as a devoted public servant, volunteering much of her time to various community and civic organizations. She was first appointed and then elected three times to the Bernards Township Board of Education. She founded the Bernards Education Foundation and spearheaded the Citizens for Better Education campaign.

Daggett also has extensive statewide political experience. In 2009, she assisted in the most successful independent gubernatorial campaign in New Jersey history, serving as a key advisor and campaign strategist for Daggett for Governor. Working in the leadership of a gubernatorial campaign provided special insight and knowledge of New Jersey's political culture.

"I am excited to join the Paper Mill Playhouse team and work closely with everyone to effectively capitalize on the renaissance and the esteemed reputation that the theater and its training, education and outreach programs are now enjoying throughout the metropolitan region," remarked Daggett.

Under the leadership of Mark S. Hoebee (Producing Artistic Director) and Todd Schmidt (Managing Director), Daggett and Green join Lisa Cooney (Director of Education), Michael Gepner (Director of Marketing and Sales), Shayne A. Miller (Director of Press and Public Relations), Patrick Parker (Associate Artistic Director) and David Topchik (Director of Finance and Administration) to complete the theater's senior management team.

Paper Mill Playhouse, a not-for-profit arts organization, is one of the country's leading regional theaters. Paper Mill Playhouse programs are made possible, in part, by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, A Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. Paper Mill Playhouse is a member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre, the Council of Stock Theatres, and the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.
