Rob Lake, acclaimed illusionist and star of the new
CW network television series, is making a new home for himself at Atlantic City's iconic Trump Taj Mahal Casino. Lake is performing nightly for full houses through the end of August, after a long stent of his world tour and shooting the new CW series, Master of Illusions. The young, modern illusionist is relaxing at the Taj Mahal as his series gets ready to kick off, bringing his unique style to audiences all across America.

Master of Illusions will feature several astounding modern illusionists, great escapes, fascinating sleight-of-hand, large-scale illusions, all in front of a live studio audience in Hollywood. The weekly series, hosted by actor Dean Cain, of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, will debut on Friday, August 1, at 8 eastern/7 central on The CW network. Rob Lake will perform many of his illusions throughout the series. Lake thrives as a live performer, but Master of Illusions is an opportunity to showcase his interactive illusions, which play out in story lines only the big screen can capture.

Now through August 31, Lake will perform his famous story-telling illusions on a nightly basis in one of the largest theatres in Atlantic City. Touring is certainly the norm for the renowned performer. Through the last several years his show has traveled not only from coast to coast, but overseas, gaining him international attention. Now lake is unpacking in Atlantic City and for the next two months. Audiences are filling in the theatre to enjoy his modern, magical style storytelling.

Lake is a long way from his home, in Oklahoma, where he began to learn the art of illusions. His inspiration came as a young child, but Lake pursued his dream constantly. At age 25, Rob became the youngest magician ever to be awarded the prestigious Merlin Award, the magic industry's highest honor accompanied with the title of Stage Magician of the Year. The stage was his first home as a performer but Rob Lake's big, theatrical style will translate beautifully to the television screen. Lake has served as magic consultant and magic advisor to network television series and films, as well as to many theatrical shows including over 700 productions of the hit Broadway musical, Disney's Beauty & the Beast.

Rob Lake is an internationally renowned magician. Lake's show is like none other thanks to his audience engaging, theatrical style. He has mesmerized audiences all around the globe with his grand-scale illusions and magical story telling.

CW's Masters of Illusion is from Associated Television International executive producers David McKenzie ("The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," "Marie"), Al Schwartz ("The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," "The Golden Globe Awards" 2013 & 2014, "The Gulf is Back"), Gay Blackstone ("The World Magic Awards" 2007-2009) and David Martin ("Marie").
