Life is Beautiful, the urban festival experience that celebrates music, food, art and learning, announced today the appointments of Andrew Donner as CEO and Eve Cohen as Managing Director. The announcements were made today by Life is Beautiful Festival Founder Rehan Choudhry.
"After the overwhelming success of the Life Is Beautiful Festival's first year, we knew we had an opportunity to become even stronger internally," said Choudhry, Life is Beautiful's Founder & Partner. "With Andrew and Eve we have found the perfect additions to our organizational core that will be essential to the festival's growth for years to come."
Donner is the owner and founder of Resort Gaming Group, a Las Vegas-based hospitality management and development company founded in 2002. He brings over a decade of experience in Las Vegas to the Life is Beautiful team. Donner has been a successful entrepreneur, especially in the real estate industry, having been involved in more than $1 billion of real estate transactions. In 2010 his Resort Gaming Group was primarily responsible for the purchase and development of the Zappos.com corporate campus in the former Las Vegas City Hall.
"I could not be more thrilled to join the Life is Beautiful team," said Donner. "The festival's first year was a watershed moment for downtown Las Vegas. It proved that Rehan's vision was right both in its scope and timing. Now we are all excited to focus on next year and taking the Life is Beautiful brand to the next level."
New Managing Director Eve Cohen brings a wealth of festival development to the Life is Beautiful team. Cohen has worked on the New York City Food and Wine Festival since 2008 serving in different capacities before escalating to that festival's Associate Director last year. She was the Head of Festival Operations for Life is Beautiful in its first year.
"Life is Beautiful is a truly unique event that combines music, food, art and learning," said Cohen. "We are all looking forward to moving into our second year and improving on what is already an incredible model."
