    Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, announced today that due to overwhelming audience demand 42nd Street has been extended. The show will run for 8 additional performances.


    NORTHEAST SHAKESPEARE ENSEMBLE PRESENTS COMEDY OF ERRORS & GODOT

    For its sixth season, the NorthEast Shakespeare Ensemble will present Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors in repertory with Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, at the Lebanon Opera House from June 18 through July 4. These two classic plays will showcase the versatile talents of NESE's acting Company: Comedy is a fast-paced popular delight, full of puns, wordplay and slapstick humor, and one of the funniest plays the Bard ever wrote; in contrast, Godot is a tragicomedy, where "nothing" happens, but audiences still stay glued to their seats.

    The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company will hold a special Fourth of July performance of its currently running production of Twelfth Night among the picturesque ruins of the Patapsco Female Institute Historic Park, Ellicott City, Maryland.     ALTAR BOYZ announced today that it would be changing its schedule for the summer: beginning Saturday July 4th, the Saturday matinee would be at 4 pm. Beginning Sunday July 12th, the Sunday evening performance will begin at 7:30 pm. Saturday matinees at 2 pm will resume after Labor Day, but the Sunday evening performance will remain at 7:30 pm permanently.
