Kinky Boots, the highly anticipated new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. Yesterday, September 6, as part of this year's Fashion's Night Out, Cyndi Lauper introduced a special performance of "Sex is in the Heel" by the cast of Kinky Boots at the Manolo Blahnik boutique (31 W 54th Street).
