Breakdown:

All roles are available:

[NATHAN BERKSHIRE] Male, Caucasian, 50s. A lifetime politico. His demeanor is, at first, folksy, self-effacing and paternal; think a political Columbo with a little sex appeal. Beneath the joviality, charm and warmth is a very smart man with a razor-sharp political mind --- quick on his toes, stealthily though not malevolently manipulative and able to see 15 chess moves into the future. Cares passionately for the politicians he works for – willing to do what it takes to see them succeed.

[JULIUS LEE] Male, Asian, late 30’s – early 40s. A handsome, attractive Marine turned politico; a very likeable, front-footed and well-intentioned alpha male about to make a big step forward into the political big-time. Smart, persuasive; a great listener. You could see him appealing to people the way Obama did when he first emerged. Though he has come a long way, his past and his personal demons may pose a threat to his dream of political office and subsequent success.

[HOLLY EAMES] Female, Caucasian, mid 30’s early 40s. Ex- girlfriend of Julius. An attractive, All-American-looking suburban housewife; keenly intelligent, extremely capable and forthright -- though somewhat neurotic. Once a promising young professional, her life fell apart as a young college student and she has worked hard to rebuild her foundation. Loves her husband, loves being a Mom --- but when her ex-boyfriend Julius reemerges that foundation quakes --- she clicks into gear, gets into the game and sets about making things right, with possibly damaging repercussions.
