Equity audition procedures are NOT in effect. No Equity monitor provided. Producer runs all aspects of the audition.
Prepare 16 bars of a musical selection and provide music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded music or a cappella auditions are not allowed.
Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
Callbacks in NYC will be held on January 18, 2011

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking male and female principal vocalists for Finding Nemo, the Musical and Voyage of the Little Mermaid, both performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL. Full time contracts with relocation assistance available. Seeking full time performers.

Ariel:
Principal female, lyrical pop soprano with belt to C. Youthful, petite, 5’1”-5’4”. Typecast.
FINDING NEMO, THE MUSICAL
Captures the heart, humor, characters and story from the Disney•Pixar animated film Finding Nemo and adapts them into a mesmerizing 30-minute Broadway-style musical stage show.
Seeking:
Marlin:
30s - 40s. Over-protective yet very loving father. Huge heart, great comedic talent. Scared of virtually everything. Baritone, able to handle musical ‘patter’ and flying at heights. Must weigh less than 180 lbs.
Bruce:
Male, 30s. A vegetarian great white shark. Can go from soft shoe to raging punk. Comedic baritone and able to handle harmonies. Must have upper body strength.
Crush:
Male. 20s – 30s. Laid back and fun-loving ‘surfer dude’ turtle. Wise old father with the ability to rock. Helps Marlin get to Sydney. ‘Beach Boys’ high tenor to C, with wonderful falsetto.
Dory:
Female, 30s. A forgetful, yet very optimistic lady fish and Marlin’s companion during this journey. Extremely quirky and an expert with comedic material. Character singer, comfortable flying at heights. Must weigh less than 180 lbs.
Nemo:
Female, late teens – early 20s. Adorable, endlessly curious, spirited, childlike and fearless, yet at the same time naïve and vulnerable. Bright and youthful mix or belt.
