7 PM – Dancers (sign in 6 PM)
Note: Dancers, please only attend one call.
Singers: Prepare 16 bars of a musical selection and provide music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded music or a cappella auditions are not allowed.
Dancers: Be warmed and ready to dance at the beginning of the call. Wear form fitting attire to show your silhouette.
Bring a current non-returnable picture and resume.
Vocalist callbacks will be held in Orlando on Monday, January 10, 2011.
Rehearsals begin late January 2011.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking male and female principal vocalists and dancers for Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, featuring a cast who create a dazzling stage show that invites you to “Be Our Guest” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL. Seeking performers from the local Central Florida area for substitute positions.
Belle:
Eager village girl who falls in love with a beast, who becomes the prince of her dreams. 5'4”-5'7”, female musical theatre mix/belt to E. Typecast.
Gaston:
Arrogant, self-centered egotist who tries to get Belle to marry him. 6'1” or taller, male operatic resonant baritone with a top G. Typecast.
Dancers:
Male and female dancers that have strong ballet technique and are well versed in musical theatre style dance; acting ability a plus; must be able to lip synch. Females: 5’7” – 5’9”, Males: 5'10” - 6'2”.
