Prepare 16 bars of a musical selection and provide music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded music or a cappella auditions are not allowed.

Bring a current non-returnable picture and resume.

Rehearsals begin February 2012. Contract length begins February 2012-early March 2013

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking male and female vocalists for Festival of the Lion King, an African-inspired celebration of the music from the animated feature film. This original musical theatre production is performed live in a 1500 seat theatre in the round in Disney’s Animal Kingdom® at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL. This large scale, high energy production features singers, dancers, acrobatic tumblers and specialty performers. We are currently seeking full time vocalists.

Kiume: The Leader. Male strong and powerful, resonant baritone/bass.

Zawadi: The Gift. “Mother Earth” to all who know her. Female gospel mezzo-soprano with high belt.

Nakawa: The Prince. Good looking and confident. Male pop/R&B second tenor.

Kibibi: The Princess. Sweet and impatient. Female pop/gospel second soprano with high belt to E.
