Seeking (all roles are available):
Estelle:
65, widowed for three years. Still “talking” to her dead husband Joe. She keeps her cards close to her chest. A perfectionist who is on the brink of moving on, but not quite yet. Urban, sharp, a former first-grade teacher, she likes to be right.
Saul:
65, Joe’s friend from high school. A recent recipient of a heart transplant, he is ready to start over, but must first face his past. An attorney, a New Yorker, and a great schmoozer who is trying to stop selling and start listening.
This is a new two-person musical. Strong singing and excellent comedic timing required. Play is about the “third act” of our lives. Both characters are strong in different ways and each is longing to take the next step forward, just trying to find the right way.
Theatre’s statement: “The Kitchen Theatre does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, political persuasion or belief, age or disability.
