Maria Vasilyevna Voinitskaya: AVAILABLE. Woman, 60s. Widow. Mother of the professor's first wife.

Ilya Ilych Telegin (Waffles): AVAILABLE. Man, 60-70. Impoverished landowner.

Marina: AVAILABLE. Woman, 60-70. The family's nurse.

The following roles are cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.

Yelena: CAST. Woman, late 20s. Serebriakov’s wife.

Sonya: CAST. Woman, late 20s. Serebriakov’s daughter by a first marriage.

Ivan Petrovich (Vanya): CAST. Man, 47. Maria Vasilyevna’s son.

Michail Lvovich Astrov: CAST. Man, 40s. A doctor.
