TO PLAY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING IN TWELFTH NIGHT:

Sebastian
Viola’s twin brother, presumed drowned in a shipwreck but survives and reunites with his sister with the help of sea captain Antonio. Devoted to his sister and distraught over her death, he finds comfort in Antonio’s loyalty. He is noble, mature and honest. Should be around 5’10”.

Valentine
One of Orsino’s attendants. He reports back to Orsino when his attempts to woo Olivia on his master’s behalf are unsuccessful.

Curio
Another of Orsino’s attendants.

TO PLAY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING IN RICHARD III:

Lady Anne – The young widow of Prince Edward, son of previous king Henry VI. Though she initially hates Richard, blaming him for the deaths of her husband and father-in-law, she finds herself seduced by Richard’s charms and soon agrees to marry him. Young and gamine, she is by turn vengeful, naïve, frightened, and ultimately manipulated and killed by Richard.

Richmond/Duchess of York – Richmond rallies a group to challenge Richard’s bloodthirsty quest to become king. He typifies justice and benevolence. By the end of the play, Richmond is successful in ending Richard’s reign of terror, uniting England and becoming King Henry VII.
The Duchess of York is Richard and King Edward IV’s mother. A widow, she is fiercely devoted to her grandchildren and curses Richard for his unspeakable actions.

Dorset –Thomas Grey, Marquess of Dorset, is one of Elizabeth’s sons from her first marriage, before her current marriage to King Edward. He is sent abroad to join Richmond when Richard becomes king.

FOR RICHARD III ALSO SEEKING:

Edward, Prince of Wales – 13 year old son of King Edward IV and Elizabeth. Witty and precocious, he is the rightful heir to the throne and suspicious of his uncle Richard’s ambitions.

Richard, Duke of York – 10 year old son of King Edward IV and Elizabeth. With his brother Prince Edward, York poses a threat to Richard’s royal ambitions.
