Please prepare a Shakespearean piece in verse (2 minutes or less). Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back.

Seeking (all roles are available):

Casting Director states, “Seeking a very ethnically diverse cast.”

Duke Orsino (male, 40s-50s) — Regal, wealthy, stern, cerebral, bored, a dreamer, loves the idea of being in love, surprises himself.

Viola (early to mid 20s) — Plays a boy (Cesario) for most of the performance (pants role), twin to her brother Sebastian, passionate, poetic, highly intelligent, hard working, regal yet earthy, thoughtful, honest, romantic.

Fabian (mid 40s) — Servant to Olivia, keeps a low profile, good at his job, open to having fun.

Olivia (female 30s-40s) — Proud, beautiful, sensual, focused, selfish, surprises herself.

Feste (male, mid 20s-40s) — Olivia’s fool, strong music background and must be able to sing, independent, wise beyond his years, in love with Olivia.

Malvolio (male, 30s-40s) — Dedicated, loyal, cynical, puritanical, analytical.

Sir Toby Belch (40s-60s) — Cousin of Olivia, in love with Maria, larger than life (physically as well as temperamentally), free spirit, charming, loveable, enjoys drinking, wicked sense of humor, broke but uses Aguecheek for his money, must sing.

Sir Andrew Aguecheek (20s-40s) — Friend of Toby Belch, shy, scared of his own shadow, foolish, insecure, proclaims his love for Olivia, must sing.

Maria (30s-40s) — Olivia’s maid, in love with Toby Belch, smart, cunning, dedicated to Olivia.

Valentine (male, early 20s, acting intern) - Loyal servant of Orsino, sharp, dedicated to his work. Non-AEA.

Sebastian (early 20s) - twin of Viola, strong, determined, open-minded but simple in his pleasures, adventurous. We are specifically looking for men who are 5'4"-5'9", blond and fair complected. Non-AEA.

Antonio (30s-40s) - Seaman, saves Sebastian's life, strong, dedicated, loving. Non-AEA.

VALENTINE (male, early 20s, acting intern) — Loyal servant of Orsino, sharp, dedicated to his work. Non-AEA.

SEBASTIAN (early 20s) — twin of Viola, strong, determined, open-minded but simple in his pleasures, adventurous. We are specifically looking for men who are 5’4”-5’9”, blond and fair complected. Non-AEA. ANTONIO (30s-40s) — Seaman, saves Sebastian’s life, strong, dedicated, loving. Non-AEA.

Note: The roles of Valentine, Sebastian and Antonio will not be on Equity contracts.
