ALADDIN and HAIRSPRAY play in repertory June through October 2012. Actors may be cast in both productions. Some shorter contracts may be available. Tuacahn is an outdoor amphitheater located in southwestern Utah (110 miles from Las Vegas).

OPEN Auditions for Dancers who sing (Equity and Non-Equity performers):
Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Pearl Studios “519”
9:30 AM – 1 PM – Equity/Non-Equity female dancers who sing 519 Eighth Avenue, 12th Floor
(sign in begins 8:30am, ends 11am) New York, NY
2 PM – 4:30 PM – Equity/Non-Equity male dancers who sing
(sign in begins 1pm, ends 3pm)
Equity audition procedures are NOT in effect. No Equity monitor provided. Producer runs all aspects of the audition.
Wear comfortable character/dance shoes and clothing. Be ready to learn combination(s). Prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show(s) in case asked to stay and sing. Have a contrasting selection prepared in case requested. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

The Council:
A group of teenage singers and dancers on The Corny Collins Show. They are: Brad, Tammy, Fender, Brenda, Sketch, IQ, and Lou Ann. Also part of the Council is Amber and Link.
Seaweeds Pals:
Male and female African American singers and dancers to play high school roles. They are: Gilbert, Stooie, Cindy Watkins, Lorraine, Duane, and Thad.
The Dynamites- 3 sexy African?American female singer/dancers inspired by the Supremes. Should have glorious pop/gospel singing voices. Should move well. They are featured in the showstopper “Welcome to the '60s”.
