AVAILABLE ROLE. Late 40s – mid 50s. Betty’s husband. A Texan. Has led a life of hard work. Has an extremely short fuse. Drifts from dry and subdued humor to drunken aggression. Leading role.
Lorraine:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Casting personnel state that they prefer to cast the character as in her 50s, but she could be anywhere between 35 and 70. Lorraine is a Texan who is extremely heavy (even obese). Walks with difficulty. Brash and abrasive -- and at times warm and emotional. MUST sing well unaccompanied. Supporting role.
Kim / Young Betty:
AVAILABLE TRACK. Kim: Late 20s. Wife of a well-to-do Texas businessman. Extremely religious. A gossip. Supporting. Young Betty: Beautiful, sweet, unimposing Texan. Supporting.

CAST (Mary Testa). Late 30s-50s. Artificial and catty. Believes she has a duty to spread the Word of Jesus to anyone who will listen. Quick to judge others. Supporting.
Jeremy / Young Don:
CAST (TJ Linnard). Jeremy: 20s. Son of Don and Betty. Shy and uneducated. Supporting. Young Don: Ladies’ man; attractive, arrogant and charming. Supporting.
Elizabeth:
CAST (Desiree Rodriguez). Mexican, 17-25. Waitress. Speaks with a slight accent. Kind and sweet, with a strong work ethic. Supporting.
