Navigates his wide emotional range with prowess and unpredictability. A man of many colors – all of them charming, none of them trustworthy. Baritone.

MOTHER MARY HAWKINS
Female, 30s, recent widow; strong, opinionated, kind and loving but worn with the work and responsibility of her life. Runs the Inn after recent death of her husband. Tough but loving with Jim. Intolerant of Billy Bones and not afraid to stand up to anyone. Mezzo with belt.
Male, 30s, opinionated, ruthless, jealous of Silver’s lead, conniving; shares equal thirst for blood and rum. Has a passionate temper. Part of Flint’s crew at one time. Baritone.
Male, 30s, his loyalty lies in question; observer of life. All the trappings of an educated, good man, but trapped in a sinister world. Carpenter’s mate. High Baritone.
Male 20s. Easily persuaded, naïve. A true follower. Aware of moral reasoning, but does not always adhere to it. Questioning and soulful. Young, green and earnest. Tenor to A.
Male, late 30s/early 40s, ship’s boatswain. Terrific game player. His loyalty remains in question, duplicitous. Tenor to High C; PEW, late 30s/early 40s, male, blind, Tim Burton-esque, creepy beggar. Tenor to C.
Male, 35+, crazy, wild, unpredictable; the sole human inhabitant of Skeleton Island. Comedically schizophrenic and erratic. Excellent physical comedian. Tenor to High C. / O’BRIEN, male, 35+, follower of Silver. Ruthless and without moral reasoning. Tenor to high C.
Male, 45+, Trelawney’s dedicated servant, loyal and true. A team player. Baritone. BILLY BONES, male, 45+, a wild, drunken, surly sea captain, in possession of the cherished treasured map; gruff and sloppy. Baritone.
Male, 35+, black hearted, isolated. Captain Flint’s gunner at one time, presently the ship’s coxswain. Sharp and methodic. Bass/Baritone; BLACK DOG, male, 35+, Tim Burton-esque creature missing two fingers on left hand, strongly in pursuit of the map. Eerie, prone to violence, short tempered. Bass.
