10 AM – Equity male AND female singers who move 165 West 46th Street, 2nd Floor
2 PM – Equity male AND female dancers who sing New York City
Singers: Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Show range. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose. Some may be asked to attend the dancers’ ECC in the afternoon.
Dancers: Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women: Character heels. Men: Character shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Show range. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose.
All: Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back.
Seeking Ensemble Singers and Dancers (M/F). Ensemble parts include (but are not necessarily limited to)
Frederick Fleet / 1st Class Passenger / 3rd Class Passenger / Ensemble Dancer:
Male, mid 20s – early 30s, British. Fleet is a lookout in the crow’s nest of the Titanic. Calls out the fateful warning, “Iceberg, right ahead!”
Kate Murphy / 1st Class Passenger / Ensemble Dancer:
Female, early 20s – mid 30s. Kate, of Irish descent, is a tough, no-nonsense woman. Wants to be self-sufficient, and has always been independent.
Kate Mullins / 1st Class Passenger / Ensemble:
Female, 20s-30. Kate, of Irish descent, is traveling to a new life in America, where she intends to live with her sister and become a maid. Becomes overwhelmed by the terrifying events; seeks comfort and care from her traveling companions.
Theatre states, “We are encouraging all ethnicities to attend, as we would like to cast multi-racially throughout the season.”
