Breakdown

All roles (with the exception of The King, Anna, Max and Leo) are open. We are looking for principal and ensemble roles. Looking for male and female actors who act, sing and dance well.


Preparation:
Fill out the the audition registration form, which can be printed from www.theaterofthestars.com. Please bring two copies of your headshot and resume. Bring your own sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of music from a Broadway musical song that best shows off your voice. Musical accompaniment will be provided. No a cappella, pop or rock selections please. Please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance if asked for a call back.

Show info:

In order to be cast in THE PRODUCERS you must be available from Monday July 9 – Sunday July 29, 2012. Rehearsal in New York will tentatively start on July 10, 2012 (the tentative rehearsal schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day until tech starts), the show will tech in Tampa, Florida and open at the Fox Theatre on Tuesday July 24, 2012. The show closes at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Sunday July 29, 2012. Local Atlanta actors will be required to travel to New York and Tampa for this production.

In order to be cast in THE KING AND I you must be available from Thursday August 16 – Tuesday September 11, 2012. Rehearsal in New York will tentatively start on Thursday August 16, 2012 (the tentative rehearsal schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day until tech starts), the production will tech and preview in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The show officially opens in Wolf Trap on Friday August 31, 2012 and closes on Sunday September 2, 2012. The show opens at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Wednesday September 5, 2012 closes on Tuesday September 11, 2012. Local Atlanta actors will be required to travel to New York and Virginia for this production.

In order to be cast in WHITE CHRISTMAS you must be available from Monday October 22, 2012 – Sunday January 6, 2013. This is a touring production. Rehearsal in New York will tentatively start on Monday October 22, 2012 (the tentative rehearsal schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day until tech starts). The show will tech in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The production travels to multiple cities on the tour. Local Atlanta actors will be required to travel to multiple cities for this production.
