www.uptownplayers.org by Monday, January 17. Prepared sides need not be memorized. A copy of the script is available for members at S.T.A.G.E..

Will Kidder: age 64. Hearty, burly, lots of vitality. We see his physical breakdown and spirit struggle over the course of the play.
Lily Dale Kidder: age 60. Will's wife. An overly credulous Southern belle.
Tom Jackson: age 35. Colleague/close friend of Will's.
Pete Davenport: age 80+. Lily Dale's stepfather. Lives with Will and Lily Dale.
Clara: age non-specific. African-American. The Kidder's housekeeper.
Carson: age 27. Pete's great-nephew from Atlanta.
Etta Doris Meneffree: age-"Quite up in years". Former housekeeper/cook of
the Kidders from 20+ years ago. Can no longer work because of her health.
African-American.
Miss Lacey: age non-specific. Will's secretary.
Ted Cleveland, Jr.: age 44. Will's boss.
