ALL CHARACTERS MUST SING & DANCE. All actors must be strong singers with a pop sensibility

Seeking a diverse company; ethnic performers strong encouraged to submit.

All actors should be able to speak scripted Spanish comfortably and believably.

All dates subject to change. ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carries reasonably by two members of the company.

ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC.

SEEKING:

Dora:

(18+ female to play 15, Musical Theatre/Pop Soprano belt) : She is a feisty, strong willed, 15 year old. She's trying to figure out her identity. Scared but determined.

The Iron Chef:

(18+ male to play multiple roles; (Legit/Pop Tenor): Good-natured, a dreamer, funny character actor.

La Bruja:

(18+ female to play multiple roles. - Musical Theatre Mezzo Belter): Sophisticated and smooth, but snake like, tricky, and even a little mean.

Mother/Wizard:

(18+ female to play multiple roles. Musical Theatre/Pop Soprano) Plays Dora’s frazzled mom, A J-Lo like superstar, and a Gloria, Queen of the Festival.

Scarecrow:

(18+ male to play multiple roles, Latin Pop Baritenor) Sweet, energetic, smart, wants to be heard but his thoughts race too quickly for his mouth. Must be very comfortable with scripted Spanish.

Mountain Lion:

(18+ male to play multiple roles, Latin Musical Theatre/ Pop tenor) A big hearted hero, he just needs a little confidence! Actor must be no taller than 5’8”.
