NYC auditions will be held January 4 and 5, 2011, by appointment only.
Seeking submissions from Actors' Equity Members only for these particular auditions.

Petruchio:
30-35. Male, A charming, rough, strong, loose cannon. He has a mysterious excitement about him. The type of guy you immediately like. Any ethnicity. LEADING ROLE
Kate:
26-29, Female, pretty but not gorgeous; emotionally charged. Any ethnicity and body type. LEADING ROLE
Triple role: Sly/Pedant/Vincentio:
Male, 40s with a lot of energy and charm. Athletic. Physical improv experience. (One actor must play all 3 roles). Any ethnicity. MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLE
Lucentio:
Male, Mid 20s. Fun, good looking, rich kid type. The type who just graduates from college and travels through Europe with his parents’ credit card, and buys drinks for everyone he meets. We are hoping to cast an actor of color for this MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLE.
Grumio:
Male, 25-45. Really funny. This is a guy who, without even trying, makes you laugh. Any ethnicity or body type. MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLE.
Tranio:
Male, Mid 20s. The smartest guy in the room who never needs to prove it. He knows who he is and has no higher ambitions. He should be confident, but not cocky. Handsome. Any ethnicity. MAJOR SUPPORTING ROLE.
