Featured chorus part. Male; 40s – 60s; neighbor of the Von Trapp family; opposed to the Nazi takeover; will understudy principal male roles including MAX. Good singer. 

Nazi Youth

Featured chorus part. Male; 20s; lyric baritone; young and clean cut. Will understudy the role of ROLF.

Sister Berthe

Special chorus part. Female; 30s – 40s; Mistress of Novices, prudish, straight-laced with a quick tongue. She is less tolerant than the other nuns. Contralto with a solid low G.

Sister Margaretta

Special chorus part. Female; 20s – 30s; Mistress of Postulants; very kind; understanding and concerned. Legit high soprano with a high C.

Sister Sophia

Special chorus part.  Female; 30s – 40s; Neither demanding nor critical; sticks with the rules. Legit soprano.

Baroness Elberfeld

Special chorus part.  Female; 30s – 40s; excellent legit singer; will understudy various principal roles.

Special chorus part. Female; late teens – 20s; chest mix with a head voice; will understudy the role of LIESL.
