Late 30s-40s. Mary Lennox’s wealthy, reclusive uncle. He was once a loving, charismatic man, but his grief has shut him down. Embittered and estranged from his son, he will be healed and reawakened by the end. Upper-class British accent. Powerful, emotional high-lyric baritone or tenor, sings to an “A”.
Lily:
Late 20s-30s. Archie’s wife,. She appears as an enchanting, loving, angelic ghost, encouraging both Archie and the children to connect and love each other. Upper-class British accent. Lovely, lyric soprano.
