Producer’s monitor begins sign-up at 3 PM. New York City
Arrive by 6:45 PM to be guaranteed an audition.
The producer will run all aspects of this call. Equity audition procedures will NOT be in effect, and no Equity Monitor will be provided.
Please prepare one song in the style of the show (1920s- or 1930s-inspired music, e.g. AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’, PURLIE; songs by the Gershwins, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter also work well). You must bring sheet music for your song; accompanist provided. You will be given a short scene at the audition to read.
Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
There will be an invited dance call on a separate day.
Seeking singer/dancer/actors to play African American male characters, ages 15 - 21. Must have tap-dance experience. Must be comfortable singing and tapping.
