Seeking:
Carrie:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Caucasian woman, late 40s/early 50s. Trim and pretty. Smart and modern. Her heart is always in the right place, but she’s no pushover. Sticks up for Mackie and Jo, and loves them as her mother and father.
Bob:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Caucasian man, early 60s. Baby boomer. From suburbia, with all the affectations: wine cellar, BMW, etc. Threatened by of anything outside of his small world.
Karen:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Caucasian woman, late 50s. Bob’s wife. Loves the good life her husband has given her, but her views on life are not as rigid as his. She is the “good cop” in the relationship.
The following roles are cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.
Mackie:
CAST. African American man, 80s. Tall, humble and dignified. Never raises his voice, but is firm in his words. He looks after Carrie, even now.
Josephine:
CAST. African American woman, late 70s. Still very pretty, and is always dressed in clean and starched clothes. Neat and smart: wise to the world she lives in. A church woman
