Please prepare two contrasting Shakespeare monologues, each 1 minute long or less. Please also prepare 16 bars of a song, to be sung a cappella. Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

2012 rep season: Twelfth Night (Carmen Khan, dir) and Titus Andronicus (Aaron Cromie, dir). 1st rep reh: 2/14/12. Shows run in rep from 3/23 - 5/13/12.

Seeking (Note: As part of the repertory season, actors will be cast in both shows):

Malvolio / Titus:

Male, late 40s-60s. Actor must have a strong command of the text and of the stage. He is a warrior yet also vulnerable, battle worn, gritty, devastated but with a sense of humor.

Antonio / Aaron:

African American male characters. Powerful and seductive. Actor must have a strong command of the text.

Sir Toby Belch / Marcus:

Male, late 30s - early 50s. Actor must have a strong command of the text, good physical comedy skills and good comic timing.

Andrew Aguecheek / Chiron:

Male, 20s-30s. Roles require a good sense of physical humor and physicality. Actor must have a strong command of the text.

Feste / Demetrius:

Male, 20s-30s. Feste has a wry and sardonic sense of humor. Roles require playing live music and singing; experience playing an instrument is a plus. Actor must have a strong command of the text.

Good physical comedy is helpful.

Sebastian / Lucius:

Male, late 20s - early 40s. Innocent and open, always tells the truth. Actor must have a strong command of the text.

Lavinia:

Woman, 20s. Lavinia is fragile and innocent. Strong physicality required.

The tracks Olivia/Tamora, Viola, Maria, and Orsino/Saturninus have been cast.
