All actors should have strong rhetorical and speaking skills. Standard British dialects.
Male: John (18-20) Youngest son of Henry and Eleanor. Spoiled, sullen, whiney, boyish, greedy. Described in the play as"pimply." Changes with each new wind, easily manipulated.
Male: Geoffrey (25). The middle son, and he feels strongly neglected. Alert, ambitious, intelligent, cold, calculating, cynical, manipulative.
Female: Alais Capet (23) Older half-sister of Philip, King of France. Beautiful, intelligent, seemingly innocent but with a hidden ruthless streak. She was betrothed to Richard at a young age, but became Henry's mistress.
Male: Philip, King of France (18-20) Handsome, cool, calculating and politically skillful. Richard's lover.
