Seeking Ensemble Men and Women:
Women:
Characters are 20s-30s, all ethnicities. Seeking a range of interesting types that believably feel to be from the shipyards of Newcastle. All must have spectacular pop/ rock voices.
Men / The Shipyard Crew:
Adrian Sanderson (30s-50s): Shipyard worker and self-styled intellectual. The bard of the yard. Baritone.
Tommy Thompson (30s-40s): Shipyard shop steward, union firebrand and resident social agitator. Probably short and muscular, definitely fiery, intense, and fearless. Tenor.
Davy Harrison (30s-40s): Cheerful, agreeable shipyard worker. Enjoys the drink. Tenor.
Bobby Connell (30s-50s): Hard, suspicious, guarded. An ex-con. Works hard in the yards but still has a chip on his shoulder. Bari-tenor.
Neville Granger (50s-60s): The old hand in the yards, has seen it all and has a story to tell about it. Baritone.
