*NRTC is a dual-city operation. This show will rehearse in Washington DC, and then perform in Winston-

Salem, NC.

Tech/Performances in Winston-Salem, NC: 11/08/11 – 12/4/11

Washington DC auditions will be held on May 21, 2011, 12pm to 6:30pm, by appointment.

Special Appearance Level II; $300

Auditions will take place at the Edmund Burke School Theater, 4101 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington,

DC 20008. Neighborhood parking. Easily walkable from the Van Ness/UDC Metro.

For the auditions, prepare one full contemporary musical song in the style of Jason Robert Brown.

Songs from “The Last Five Years” are acceptable.

Seeking:

Jamie Wellerstein:

(Bari-tenor/Tenor): Late 20s – Early 30s. A successful Jewish young writer, Jamie is headstrong,

charismatic and alluring. Despite being both highly intelligent with an emotional depth, he has a way of

getting swept up in himself and his own career.

Cathy Hyatt:

(Soprano): Late 20s – Mid 30s. A transplant to NYC to start her acting career, Cathy is still a small-town

All-American girl at heart. Although kind, driven and talented, her career has not taken off the way she

had believed it would. While level-headed, she still requires a stable system of support if she’s going to

flourish both personally and professionally. All ethnicities welcome.
