Please prepare a Classic Rock song that showcases your vocal range, as well as a 2 minute contemporary monologue. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. Bring picture and resume, stapled together. Monologues will be on request only!

Callbacks Friday, February 4, 11am to 5pm.

This is a new rock musical loosely based on the life of legendary Queen front man, Freddie Mercury.

Seeking:

Freddie:

20/25 years. Tenor. Dark exotic features. A rock star façade that masks emotional vulnerability.

FM3:

45 years. Tenor. Dark exotic features. Confident, outrageous; the life of the party.

Farrokh:

14/16 years. Tenor. Dark exotic features. Driven. Flamboyant. Sensitive.

Brian:

35/40 years. Baritone. Tall, thin. Extremely bright. Quiet; content to let others be in the spotlight.

Roger:

35/40 years. Baritone/tenor. Blonde; almost ‘pretty’ man. A bit of a playboy.

John:

30/35 years. Baritone/bass. Average height. Smart. Emotionally reserved. Homebody type.

Mary:

25/30 years. Alto. Plain looking, unremarkable. The love of Freddie’s life. Loyal, caring, simple.

Montserrat Caballe:

40-45 years. Soprano. Spain’s premiere operatic diva. Affectionate.

Jim:

35/40 years. Baritone/tenor. Blue collar type. Unrefined. Irish. Stubborn.

Daisy:

30/35 years. Baritone/tenor. Male, stout, balding. Slightly effeminate. Very social and likable.
