All dates subject to change. ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carries reasonably by two members of the company.

This tour will be going to Canada. All actors must have valid passports.

All actors must be versatile performers to play multiple characters.

SEEKING:

Grace Carter:

African-American female. 18+ to play a young courageous 8 year old girl based on the landmark case Brown vs. Board of Education. She is feisty, warm, open, appealing, funny and lovable.

Thurgood Marshall:

African-American male, 18+. Strong charismatic, larger-than-life actor to play the brilliant fighter for human rights. He is a man who has wit, wisdom, & drive. He is also a great speaker; funny, irreverent, passionate. We must love and cheer him on his battle against school segregation.

Mrs. Marian Carter/ Jane:

African-American female. 18+, Young character type. Plays Grace's mother; strong, supportive, loving. Also plays Grace’s best friend, an 8 year old girl.

Ernest Carter:

African-American male, 18+, to play Grace's father, a working class guy, deacon of the church, physically strong, determined to get his daughter a good education.

John Davis/ Edwards:

Caucasian male, 18+ . Seeking character actor. Brilliant lawyer and Marshall's opponent in the Supreme Court. Southern gentleman, courtly, sophisticated, savvy, an iron fist in a velvet glove. A passionate, committed litigator. Also plays Edwards, the superintendent of Topeka schools.

Jack Greenberg:

Caucasian male. 18+ . Seeking character actor. Versatile actor to play enthusiastic lawyer on Marshall's team. Also plays Tommy, an 8 year old boy.
