Michael Nomura:

(Japanese-American Male, mid 30s). Deeply private, but with a sardonic and understated sense of humor. Ability to portray an inner life, with a sense of shame or anger that courses beneath, pushing at the surface.

Darryl Love:

(African American Male, 30s). Professional baseball player. Charismatic, whip-smart, mischievous. A trickster and one-man chorus. Understands the media game – plays with his public persona and the perception thereof. Knows it’s all an act and a performance. Capable of switching tone on a dime – street-smart commentary to professorial debate to conceited athlete to straight-forward, unadorned sincerity.
