PERFECT WEDDING by Robin Hawdon

On the morning of his wedding, Bill wakes up in his honeymoon suite with a dreadful hangover and an unknown woman in his bed. It’s a race against time as he has to either get her out or make up a plausible story before his fiancée and future mother-in-law arrive. Desperate times call for desperate measures in the hysterical romp of a love story gone wrong.

BILL - The groom. Likeable, appealing bloke with a good physique. Plays part of the first scene in his skivvies and a sheet. Some physical comedy. (late 20's-30) Standard British accent

TOM - the best man. Bill's best friend. Solid. Dependable. Likeable. Goes to great lengths to appease Bill. Some physical comedy. (Late 20's-30) Standard British accent.

RACHEL - The bride to be. Attractive, organized, pragmatic. Appears briefly in her underwear. (Late 20's-30) Standard British accent.

JUDY - Very attractive. Very appealing. Appears briefly in her underwear. The "romantic lead" (Late 20's-30) Standard British accent

JULIE - A chambermaid. Kooky, energetic, volatile. A comic gem.

Lots of verbal and physical comedy. Able to do a good Cockney accent easily. (Late 20's to late 30's)

DAPHNE - Mother of the Bride. Perfectly turned out, very organized, highly emotional on "the big day". (Late 40's-Late 50's)
