THIS SHOW IS CAST. Seeking potential replacements only.

WOMAN: 70’s; Elegant, sharp-edged, but with a great heart beneath. Quick in banter and very good

good front. A poet and one-time comedy writer, she still knows a good joke when she hears it -- and a
lousy one too. Any ethnicity.

MAN: 70s or older - Gruff regular guy whose outer breezy toughness masks a love of both poetry
and the words and poets that create them. A sometime artist and likewise a former comedy writer, he
uses jokes and movie quotes and anything else he's got, to reach out to the love of his life, for whom
he would cheerfully lay down his life. Any ethnicity.
