Charlie Conlon:
Male, mid-30’s. Irish. One of a number of extras hired in the filming of a Hollywood movie being shot in rural Ireland. Former owner of a failed video store. He has a movie script in his back pocket that he hopes will win some consideration from the movie people. The actor playing this role will also play a series of other roles in the play. Especially interested in actors who are authentic Irish and are US Citizens or have paperwork to legally work in the US (Green Card, Employment Card, Visa, Etc.)."
Jake Quinn:
Male, mid-30’s. Irish. One of a number of extras hired in the filming of a Hollywood movie being shot in rural Ireland. Jake has recently returned from a short and very unsuccessful stay in New York with the notion that he might become a film star. As an extra, he is relegated to digging turf as a “background bog man.” He attempts to win the favors of the film's female star by pretending to be a poet. The actor playing this role will also play a series of other roles in the play. Especially interested in actors who are authentic Irish and are US Citizens or have paperwork to legally work in the US (Green Card, Employment Card, Visa, Etc.)."
