Prepare a contemporary comedic monologue.
Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
Call-backs on Friday, March 11th.
Seeking 2 males and 2 females. There are 2 AEA contracts available to be cast among the 4 available roles.
Maureen:
(35-40) Full-figured, earthy, attractive, lovable lonely-heart. Possessed with a sharp and funny self-deprecating sense of humor that masks her loneliness.
Sheila:
(early 50s) Maureen’s older, more attractive sister; very fashionable, flamboyant and full of advice; frequents her plastic surgeon’s office.
Joe:
(35-40) Maureen’s heavy-set blind date; a warm, endearing, unlucky, middle-class, lonely guy from Bensonhurst.
Squire:
(early to mid 50s) Sheila’s husband; handsome lawyer who loves female attention and who is struggling with a mid-life crisis.
