BREAKDOWN
Olivia
39, then 41. Any ethnicity. Smart, sexy, seemingly strong but covering some fragility. Loves writing and reading serious literature. A highly educated novelist, but after receiving limited and recognition success from her first novel, loses confidence. She is currently making her living as a teacher. Trying to get out of her long writer’s slump with a new book, she struggles to gain back her self-assurance.
Ethan
28, then 30. Any ethnicity. Charismatic, sexy, a fast talker, expects to be the center of attention. His charm is seemingly irresistible. His real life sexual exploits: having sex with a new stranger every week for a year, were the source material for a hugely successful blog that has brought him notoriety, and celebrity. However, the new found fame has opened many doors, but not the one that recognizes him as a serious writer – which he longs to be. There is another side to him that can be honest and vulnerable.
