Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
All cast members play a variety of roles in 5 mini-musicals. Each actor is the central character of one mini-musical. All should be comfortable singing harmonies. Seeking:
Harold:
Male (Tenor/Baritone), Singer/Dancer and physical comedian a la silent movie genre. He is the centerpiece of the madcap 1928 New York City story.
Nina:
Female (Alto belt, strong jazz singer), Singer/Mover, possibly African American. She is the central character in the 1957s New Orleans story.
Leslie:
Female Singer (Mezzo soprano, lyric with strong mix) and beautiful dancer. She is the centerpiece of the 1939 American in Paris Story from her (a woman’s) point of view.
Jane:
Female Singer (Alto belt with mezzo soprano). Dancer and strong comedian a la Carol Burnett. She is the centerpiece of the 1948 Hollywood story.
Gene:
Male Singer (Baritone/Tenor and lyric leading man) and athletic dancer. He is the central character in the contemporary story.
