Chloe:
Female, early- to mid-thirties, the daughter of Tulip and Jimmy, niece to Carl. A struggling standup comedian. Proficient in rock bass guitar.

Carl:
male, 60s, Jewish. Former guitar player of the rock band The Pisces. Still thinks he’s living in the 1960s. Proficient in rock guitar.

Melvin:
male, 60s, African-American, The Pisces’ drummer. A natural leader; brilliant, talented, and very bossy. Proficient rock/jazz drummer.

Coyote Dan:
male, 60s. The Pisces’ lead singer. Charismatic, vain, manipulative, and sexy…but not as sexy as he thinks he is.

Tulip:
female, 60s. Chloe’s mother and a former The Pisces groupie. After a wild life in the 1960s, she’s now a licensed doula and sex therapist.

Jimmy:
male, early 20s, Carl’s big brother. The Pisces’ bassist. Magnetic and energized, constantly bursting with ideas. A figment of Carl’s imagination. Proficient in rock bass guitar.

Young Coyote Dan:
male, early 20s, lead singer for The Pisces.
Young Melvin: male, early 20s, African-American, drummer for The Pisces. Proficient rock drummer.

Elizabeth Condell/Emilia Bassano Lanier/Fruit Seller:
40s-50s, female; multiple tracks, including savvy wife of Henry Condell, and fiery Italian poetess and lover of William Shakespeare.

Rebecca Heminges/Anne Hathaway Shakespeare:
